Green Alliance’s outreach working group drives action to expand access to the environmental and think tank sectors, reaching and empowering people from underrepresented backgrounds. We actively build new pathways into the sector, champion diverse talent and make Green Alliance’s work visible and accessible to a wider audience. In doing so, we help Green Alliance live its values of collaboration, optimism and inclusivity.

We aim to achieve this by:

• Delivering interactive workshops and talks in schools, colleges and universities to broaden awareness of environmental/green careers and policy work.

• Expanding partnerships with grassroots organisations, community groups and career networks that engage underrepresented groups, like Creative Access.

• Proactively promoting opportunities such as our new Positive Action Trainee Scheme to wider and more diverse audiences through targeted outreach.
